Hello,

I think I found a bug in Firefox for Android.

When I view the following webpage on "Firefox for Mac OS X" it looks fine. However, when I view the same page on "Firefox for Android" I see some issues:

liondatasystems.com/events

Basically, if you go to the above web page in "Firefox for Mac OS X", you will see the words located underneath the lion's eyes (World Class Predictive Analytics) are placed "within" the tan-colored banner and look ok.

However, if you view the same webpage on "Firefox for Android", the text will be mis-aligned with the tan-colored banner.

And, if you view the same webpage using the "stock" Android Browser, everything looks fine.

Seems like a bug in "Firefox for Android"

Gekose oplossing

This is a modification of the page which is intended. It is a feature called font inflation which attempts to make desktop websites more readable on mobile devices. It is imperfect.

You can set the text size setting to its smallest setting and you will get the same rendering as the stock browser.

Menu button -> settings -> content -> text size -> press small a several times -> set

Then refresh the page.
