I have been using Thunderbird for some time with no problems, but I am now suddenly getting the following error message which has stopped me sending any emails at all to anyone regardless of their email address, either in a group or singly.

"An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Too Many Recipients (TT502). Please check the message recipient dave@starsnow.co.uk and try again".

There have been no recent changes of any kind to my computer, this error message has just come out of the blue. can anyone please help resole the problem.

hanks

The error is coming from your providers server. They would be the best one to ask. Have you been sending lots of mail? I have seen this when providers have send limits and the customer has reached their limit.
