No matter how many times I download Mozilla Firefox, it continues to stop processing unless I move my mouse/curser. I give up!

I did an upgrade yesterday to Mozilla Firefox and immediately it would stop processing unless I move my mouse/curser. I asked support my question, found similar issues and followed directions to delete existing program and re-download. I've done this twice and my computer continues to stop processing unless I move my mouse/curser. I like Mozilla Firefox and would like to use it. Any other suggestions??? I'm ready to give up. hello Silveal, multiple other affected users have reported that this was an issue caused by malware on their pc. please run a scan of your system with adwcleaner and the free version of malwarebytes.

Yesterday, before proceeding with re-downloading the Mozilla Foxfire program I ran a spyware, malware, etc. scan from Microsoft and everything came back clean (was a complete scan - took several hours). Really disappointed that this keeps happening. Have used Firefox for several days and it had worked great until I accepted an "update" the other day. Silveal
