I had an IMAP account with a company I used to work for. I removed the account in Thuderbird and they removed the account on their server. I now need to be able to read the old e-mails.

The profile and all the e-mails are on my computer and I can read the files through a text editor. It's a bit cumbersome. Is there a way to restore the profile in my Thunderbird? The other answers to similar questions always had the account to be recreated, but I can't do that as my username and password get rejected.

Thanks,

-Brian

do the files your reading have a file extension? What is the "path" to their location on your computer?
