According to the Help instructions, in order to delete some or all of my search history, I am supposed to click on the menu button and then select the History option. However, when I click on the menu button, History is not listed as one of the options.

Hi, the button may be in 'Additional Tools and Features' within the customize part of the menu. If so, you can drag it to a location of your choice. If it isn't visible, try clicking on Restore Defaults - more info - Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

You can also bring up history by pressing Ctrl + H. Or you can bring up the menu bar (history tab) temporarily by pressing Alt, or if you would like it to remain there all the time, right click in the tab bar (but not on a tab) and tick/check Menu Bar.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.
