I installed Kaspersky Security 2015 today for the first time. I received a Mozilla notice saying that Kaspersky URL Advisor 4.0.10.15 is incompatible with Firefox 39 and the plug in information page also freezes. I really need URL advisor. What can be done to rectify this please? Thank you.

I am new to this. Your first answer didn't solve my problem. I hope Mozilla will provide a solution. Thank you for your replies.

First off the URL advisor isn't a necessary part of Kapersky's security. Your anti-virus is still running in the background. It mimics features already in Firefox. There is no real reason to use it and it can introduce stability issues that wouldn't exist otherwise.

If you still want it, please contact Kapersky for assistance, maybe they have a newer version that is compatible with Firefox.
