Sync not working

I have two platforms, both are kept up to date:

Windows 7 Firefox 39.0

Fedora 20 Firefox 38.0.5

On both of them I have sync enabled. When I add a bookmark on one of the platforms the other one receives it. When I remove a bookmark on Windows, it's not being removed from Fedora. When I remove a bookmark on Fedora it's not being removed on Windows.

Could someone at least tell me how to debug this? I can't find any logs (are there any?), when force a sync nothing happens (the icon turns blue and starts rotating for a few minutes and then stops)

Type about:sync-log in the URL bar and hit Enter.

Error logs will be listed.

If there aren't any error logs, services.sync.log.appender.file.logOnSuccess can be toggled to true in about:config to get "success" logs to be generated.

Do not forget to reset the services.sync.log.appender.file.logOnSuccess pref to false after you have finished testing Sync or you will end up with a lot of unnecessary log files once the issue is resolved.

If you want then you can upload a recent log to this website if the log is too big to put in a reply.
