Pin URL to FIREFOX Icon in Taskbar not working in Windows 10, what changed and how do I fix it?!

I had URL's "Pinned" to my FireFox icon shown ON my taskbar. After a recent update the URL's / Shortcuts (Directly Via the FireFox Icon) are no longer working. I am getting messages from windows saying the location is no longer available. What changed and how do I fix it?? Why was this removed and was it intentional? I am using Windows 10 x64 Home and FireFox version 40+ (Most recent).

Btw, the way they were pinned was by dragging the URL from the address bar down to the FireFox Icon shown on the Taskbar (while Firefox is opened). This allowed me to right click on the FireFox icon and choose a URL and open it directly. This saved me from having to go "Deeper" into FireFox to get to the URL's and yet still left them available on my "taskbar", also allowed me not to keep them on my "Newtab" page. I found this extremely useful for the few "special" websites I want quick access to. Is there a workaround to restore this? After the big "hype" from FireFox about how it is supporting Windows 10 and THEN have this option I am so used to removed really blows my mind. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

No one has an answer to this problem?? I am really shocked that I am apparently the only user in the world who had URL's pinned to the FIREFOX Opened Icon on my Taskbar and still wants to use this function.
