Fatal: Firefox 41.0.2 priority too high, preempts streaming audio

Firefox 41.0.2 when loading any webpage interrupts streaming audio. 41.0.1 was still okay.

Either its priority is too high or it's doing something stupid with spin locks or similar.

Windows XP, against real audio playing a local file, but probably any audio source is affected.

A temporary fix is to lower the priority of Firefox when you start it to "below normal."

I take it back (I think). I reverted to 41.0.1 and got the same problem.

Reverting to 41.0.2 again the problem is apparently gone.

Historically real player (10.5) is immune to interruption from other programs so it was noteworthy.
