I have genuinely tried to search the forums, but I can't find how to have different tabs for different accounts. So I have 5 gapps accounts under TB, and would love to have each under their own tabs.

Is this even possible?

You can certainly open each account in a separate tab. Right-click the account in the folder pane - Open in New Tab. However, you'll always have the entire list of accounts in the folder pane.
