Is it possible that I have a corrupted download on version 42.0?

I'm not certain, however once I allowed the update to install (yesterday), Version 42.0, some of my incoming e-mails are showing the ORANGE warning triangle. I did not have this problem until yesterday after doing the auto update. What steps can I take to ensure that my version is not the problem? I use Yahoo, and have had it for about 10 years or more without ever having this problem occur. The only method I can use to get rid of the orange triangle is to reload using the "In" box. Otherwise the orange warning stays there for everything, even those which I know are safe (e.g. from Mozilla). The orange warning triangle continues to stay with many of the incoming e-mails, primarily those with images.

ANY AND ALL ADVICE WILL BE MOST APPRECIATED.
