Time on received emails is wrong sometimes. It is some hours earlier compared to other email clients I use. email shows 12.02 pm on Thunderbird and 10.14 pm on the others (outlook app on android phone and tablet) and 2007 outlook on old XP computer.

Check your time zone setting on your computer. Thunderbird gets time from the computer clock.

Was it spam? Spammers like to play with time and date so it goes to the top of your listing. Bottom line... Thunderbird gets its time from your computer. If that is set correct the time and dates that Thunderbird controls will be right. It cannot control timestamps from servers out of its control.
