Hi,

I trying to have thunderbird show messages grouped by date (with a threading on Today, Yesterday, Last Week, etc..) and within these threads, see emails conversations. A conversation that was started three weeks ago, but received a new email today should show in the today thread, but starting from the first email of the conversation. I haven't figured out if this is possible, as Grouped by (Date) and Threads are mutually exclusive. Any ideas?

Thanks

As you say, there is only one group by sort at a time. So I guess your out of luck.

You might file an enhancement bug and see if one of the developers shows interest. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/
