Every time I get a Firefox update to an add on update, I have to give my permission for all add ons to be applied. When there is a Firefox crash this happens also. It's annoying and frustration. The only reason I don't leave Firefox is Chrome doesn't support java. I use Lavasoft Adaware free version and never had this problem before. I've used Adaware for years. Comp is Dell Inspiron, Windows 10. Help please.

Hi wazzanazz13, I believe this can be changed in the add on settings.

  1. Go to about:addons
  2. Click on the gear icon, then change the update setting.

Type about:preferences#security<enter> in the address bat. Turn on Warn Me When Sites Try To Install Add-ons.

To it's right, press the Exceptions button. Add http://addons.mozilla.org
