Nuance PDF Converter 6
I have had quite a fight getting Nuance to provide me with lost codes to activate their PDF Converter 6. NOW that I FINALLY got them to provide it. . . what do I find but the newest version of Firefox says it could not be verified and was disabled. I USE this when I order online to keep a photo copy of my transactions. Without it I will have to go to IE!!!!!!!!! How can I work around this problem? You don't know what a fight I had with Nuance over activating this add on.

This will disable add-on signature enforcement; Enter about:config into your Firefox address bar Click the I'll be careful button Find xpinstall.signatures.required in the list Right click the preference Select Toggle until the value is false https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-on-signing-in-firefox
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/AddOns/Status/Updates#Exec_Summary “Currently targeting Signing with no pref to turn off in Firefox 47”
Thank you for the quick reply Fred. It was very informative. I WAS able to disable the signatures problem . . . but when I did. . . another problem cropped up. The current error reads:
"PDF Converter 6.0 is incompatible with Firefox 43.02" Looks like I am just plain out of luck. I will have to look for a utility that will print to PDF like my former one did.
Thanks again for the speedy reply. I did learn a lot I did not know before. . .so it is valuable experiance.
Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)
At the top right is a gear icon. Press it and select Check For Updates.
Also check it's support site.
