Which is different than Adobe Shockwave Flash. Silly for Adobe to have similar names for two different pieces of software.

"Adobe Shockwave Player" is more commonly referred to as Shockwave for Director or just Adobe Shockwave. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_Shockwave
