Hmm, I searched for "Tab Saved" and discovered a feature I didn't know about called tab queuing. Here's how to bypass that.

(1) Open the Firefox menu -- on your device, this may use the "hardware" button near your device home button (or you may see a stack of 3 dots on Firefox's address bar)

(2) Tap Settings, then Customize

(3) Uncheck the box for Open multiple links

Switch over to your Google results and tap a link and it should launch in Firefox immediately.

Success?

I haven't noticed that before myself. Where are you searching?

  • Using Google Now or the Google search bar on the Android home screen

Is the gray page displayed in Firefox? If you glance at the address bar when this appears, or tap it, does it show the address of a page on Google (e.g., an exit page), or the address of the destination site?

There isnt a grey page. On Android phones, firefox doesnt autatically open a webpage. A small appelet bar, reads: tab saved | open now I dont how can explain amy other way. I cant be the first person to ask this. S samsung's Svoice bypasses this permission and opens the page immediately as one would expect.y search in Firefox is defaulted to Google and I removed the Samsung factory browser 'Internet' from the default. Lo amd behold the appelet bar is still there wasting my time... I cant fix this, I will need uninstall fiewfox.
