Firefox for iOS (iPhone) randomly deleted all of my bookmarks and history. Can I get the bookmarks back?

Firefox for iOS (on my iPhone) randomly deleted all of my bookmarks and browsing history. I did NOT update Firefox for iOS, unless it somehow updated automatically without me seeing or knowing when it updated.

Is there a way to get my bookmarks back?

Sorry to say but the truth is Firefox doesn't keep a backup of the History like is done with the bookmarks. So i guess that you will have to do it all over again. wish you luck on your adventure. LOL.

I appreciate your response, but I asked if there is a way to get my bookmarks back. I didn't ask if I can get my history back. I explained that both my bookmarks and history were deleted only to explain my situation in case that would clarify what my problem or solution is. But I do not need to get my history back. I only need to get my bookmarks back. And I do not see a location of any backup of the bookmarks.

This is Firefox on an iPhone. I Googled it and was not able to find anything about this issue. Perhaps I should have clarified that I am on an iPhone, but the use of iOS certainly indicates that I am using either an iPhone or an iPad, both of which I am assuming have the same options in Firefox.

Edit: I just updated the question to indicate that I was using Firefox on an iPhone.

Edit 2: if there is a backup of my Firefox bookmarks on my iPhone, would anyone be able to tell me how I can access this backup? Thank you

Please read the responses carefully. When I said 'Firefox doesn't keep a backup of the History like is done with the bookmarks' this means the history and the bookmarks. Nothing is stored. No backup(unless you have made one) and yes I know that you are asking question for the FF iphone. And for it my answer is still the same. NO. In case of pc, ya sometimes there is a backup but not for mobile devices. And I hope now you may have understood the thing. Cheers.

bbobe900000, are you referring to bookmarks saved in Firefox for iOS, or bookmarks synced from your desktop?

Thank you for your answer. That does answer my question. In "Firefox doesn't keep a backup of the History like is done with the bookmarks", the "is" seemed to refer to backing things up, indicating that backing up "is done with the bookmarks", which is where my confusion was. But I'm glad we got it cleared up.

Edit: also, sorry for the attitude in my previous post.

These are bookmarks I saved in Firefox for iOS. They are not synced from my computer.
