i want firefox to restore my previous session, but to not load any tab until i view it. it worked like this before i changed computer, but now, in my new computer, when i restore the previous session, firefox load every single tab at the same time. i don't want to enable the "Do not load the cards before they are selected" option.

That's the only solution, checking "Don’t load tabs until selected" forces Firefox to not load the restored tabs in the background, only when you select them.

Why not? This setting should only affect the tabs restored from previous sessions, not tabs you open in normal browsing. Could you test it and confirm?

i checked, and now it seems that if i use that option every goes fine, but yesterday when i used that option every tab i opened clicking on a link didn't load until i clicked on it. maybe it was just a temporary problem, i think it's resolved, if the problem appears i will tell you
