I used to use Firefox and advise anyone I met to use it. But Firefox has become so unreliable, slow, cumbersome, etc., that I have given it up. For good.

Starts fine and grows slower and slower with use until it stalls, freezes, etc. Affected by javascript loaders that load columns of ads, etc., or at least it seems that way. This behavior on 4 different computers from windows xp to vista to windows 7 with different sets of addons and no addons.

There can be several causes for your problem.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
