How can I remove Total Browser Security from the Extensions?

I received a message stating that " Total Browser Security could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled." Total Browser Security is made by Mozilla which makes Firefox!!! So Why in the heck could it NOT BE VERIFIED for use in FIREFOX?

So I would like to Delete it/Remove it from my list of "Extensions". however I have tried to remove it following all of the suggested methods, but have been unsuccessful. Is there a way to actually remove it?

Also, would the Total Browser Security disabled keep causing the Adobe Flash Plug-in to crash, and cause all of my web browsers to freeze and crash and then cause my computer to freeze? Or could that just be due to my computer being 9 years old?

I plan on building a new computer either later this year or early next year, whenever I get the money. I am trying to make this computer last.

From some Google searches it seems that Total Browser Security is a fake Mozilla add-on, ie, not really made by Mozilla. Sophos lists it as adware. Maybe you could try their tool for removing it.

Other than that I'd try the normal things, remove the add-on in Firefox, check Add/Remove Programs, etc.
