how come i don't see my sync icon on the bottom on the right firefox, like the old version

Just updated to ff45.0.2 on mac and win.

Can't find my firefox sync icon where it usually was. (The one, which indicates, that sync is running/syncing)

Customizing the toolbars did not show a sync icon.

Where is it?

The "Sync Now" toolbar button is gone in Firefox 45 and has been replaced by the "Synced Tabs" button and the button got a new icon. You can find a Sync button (two arrows in a circle) in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list next to the Sync email address when you are connected.

Is there an Addon, which will provide the useful toolbar icon/button?

I'm not using the "3-bar" FF menu on my win/mac computer (Classic Theme Restorer Addon).

There is a support thread over here for the Classic Theme Restorer. http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=2827985&start=3945

If there is an add-on that restores that toolbar button, I would expect it to be CTR. Don't use CTR myself, so I don't know if that button has been "restored" yet or not.
