You can create two separate Sync accounts, but you will need two different email addresses if you want to keep Sync data separate.

Sync sends the data from all connected devices to the Sync server and merges this data to all connected devices.

  • data on your computer is encrypted locally with an encryption key derived from the Firefox account password and send to the Sync server
  • data stored on the Sync server is merged with data in your currently used profile
