Firefox can't connect to localhost

more options

Actually none of the browsers can connect to localhost. I do get the message: Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at localhost. I am using WAMPSERVER 3.0.4 Apache 2.4.18 PHP 5.6.19 MySQL 5.7.11 What is wrong? How do I fix it?

I think you would do better to seek support from whoever puts out that software. Maybe:

Nobody responded to your question there?

Hello,

I ended up downloading CurrPorts to tell me what was using Port 80.

Why would httd.exe be using the port 2 times to listen?

And how do I know that the problem might be Firefox and not WAMP

I guess you don't know for sure, but since you started from having none of your browsers connect, it seems like a server problem.
