I have one email that includes pictures that locks up my Thunderbird email every time I click on it, and it will not let me delete that one email only. All others delete with no problem. Just clicking on that one to delete it locks up the program. How can I get rid of it?

What have you tried?

eg: Do Not open the email, so it is Not displayed in Message Pane. right click on email in list and select 'Delete Message' from the drop down menu.

Also try: right click on email in list and select 'Move to' and select the accounts Trash folder. Right click on Trash folder and select 'Empty Trash'

Right clicking on the message and deleting from the drop down menu did the trick.

I still don't understand why my usually reliable Thunderbird did this on a long time friend's email.

Thank you so much!
