classic theme restorer: bar arrangements

Tried Classic Theme Restorer, but it does not bring the good old efficiency of FF21 back.

Here is what is desired:

At the top of the browser: three bars

bar#1 at top: browser menu (file, edit, ..., help); addon icons; url/website input; search box.

bar#2 in mid: bookmark folders/icons

bar#3 under #2: tabs

Bottom of browser: addon bar (incl status)

Can anyone make this work for the new FFs?

(The new FFs feel like "quick-20/80-Google/M$SFT" "update-rape" "philosophy"...options are one thing, forcing them is another. The idea of quick iterations was not guinea-pigging the user, but to learn quickly, for a better result, which then become options, not dogma. Admittedly, easier said than done. Still love FF, but please get back to real good, not wacko juggernaut, for total love!)

CTR can move the tab bar, it's just very hard to find everything. Here's my experimental attempt to re-create your old layout. (See screenshots.)

It uses Classic Theme Restorer and Status-4-Evar. In Customize, you move the features you want from the main Navigation toolbar to the menu bar and status bar, then you can hide the Navigation Toolbar and CTR's Add-on bar. Actually, I didn't try moving anything to the status bar.

Please see what I posted, that already has the answer to your question in it, even with pic.

The toolbars are in the wrong order?

Type about:customizing<enter> in the address bar. In the new window, look for the icon. When you find it, hold down the left button on it, and move it to where you want it to be. You can move any of the icons you want from here, but some icons are locked in place.

In the case of toolbars, grab the bar and drag it.

Last time I tried to put in bar#1 all this, as shown in my pic, browser menu (file, edit, ..., help); addon icons; url/website input; search box it did not work. Have you tried it as per above?

And in bar#2 in mid: bookmark folders/icons?

And in bar#3 under #2: tabs?

Tab seems to be forced on top...

If you want to move the tab bar, you need a different add-on. Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.

Which one (I never found any to move just the tab bar)?

I never used one of them.

How does that work together with your previous post "If you want to move the tab bar, you need a different add-on" ?

Classic Theme does not do that. But there is an add-on that does.

My question was not about anything we already knew from posts before (so I can only wonder why you answered that way, but no need to answer that, let's save time).

And again, which addon allows for moving the bars (and this is also not a rhetorical question, but a real one for a real answer)?
