Hi. Until now I used Firefox beta and it worked just fine with x-notifier. Now, after updating to Firefox beta 50,0 x-notifier stopped working. When I start Firefox it start with two open tabs (start page and, either a blank tab or x-notifier page). I enter all my email accounts, I even export them in a file, I click on save but it doesn't check email on all accounts and, when I restart Firefox, I have to enter all my email accounts again.

Is there any solution to this? Even if I have to go back to previous version of Firefox (now I have 49.0.1 but still no joy). Having 6 email accounts I really need this extension. I hope I don't have to switch to Chrome (I don't like very much the extension work in Chrome but it does the job)

Yes,I had the same problem, but found a link to an earlier X-notifier version (3.5.21) that works fine: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/xnotifier/versions/ (Scroll down to find 3.5.21)

Just don't update when you get the update available notice!

Hi

This does not sound like an issue with Firefox itself, but an add-on that you have installed.

Add-ons are created by a large community of independent developers. The developer for the add-on that you are using is the best person to contact for help and support with their software. You can find their contact details by clicking on their name on the page that you downloaded the add-on from.
