All of my emails in my inbox and my trash are deleted.

I went to check my emails in my inbox and when I went to scroll through, they were all deleted. I went to my trash and saw them there, I then clicked back to my inbox. My inbox was still empty so I thought I would take them out of my trash. When I went back to my trash folder, that folder was empty as well and those emails were deleted too. How can I get those emails back?

Once they are gone from the trash, then it becomes of a matter of trying to recover deleted files from the hard drive in your Thunderbird Profile folder.

You can use Recuva for this. I don't hold much hope for this, though. The longer you use the computer before recovering the files, the more likely it will be that they will not be recoverable. Plus, using Recuva and recognizing the files might be difficult, depending on your level of computer experience.

Of course, this is assuming these e-mails were saved on your computer. If they were in an IMAP folder, they may have only been on the server.
