Tried all your fixes, still missing extensions after reboot. What now? Or do I go to IE or Chrome?

After installing a few extensions (AddBlock Plus, Saved Password Editor, FEBE and CLEO) all was fine until I started the PC again. All Gone! Tried all Mozilla fixes, no go. What Now?

Hi   !
Would you take a look at the section   'How do I get rid of malware'   in the article   'Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware' :

I wonder if you did a Refresh. Mozilla Firefox does rather aggressively promote that. Just leave Firefox unused for a while and it will suggest you do a Refresh. If you Tried all Mozilla fixes you probably did do that

That removes all extensions and the easiest thing to do is reinstall them again by downloading and installing each one, and in future remember that is one of the main things a Refresh will do.

Refresh is a simple mouse click procedure and it does solve some issues, but it is not as easy to reverse the process. Note you will have an old profile folder on the Desktop if you did do a refresh.

You mention FEBE so if you have already used that your easiest method is simply install FEBE and use the backups it created. N.B. If in the meantime you have created new bookmarks since the problem export your bookmarks as HTML before doing any restores of Firefox from FEBE that will allow you to try to track down and if necessary add the new bookmarks. In fact if you have anything new make use of FEBE to make sure it is backed up.
