Hello, since some days Thunderbird freezes very often, especially when I try to compose email messages. It is nearly not usable.

The windows ressourcemonitor says, that it is waiting for network io (see attachment).

I have windows 10 1607, Thunderbird 45.5.0 with Lightning 4.7.5. I also installed the ESET Endpoint Security virus scanner, but already disabled the scanning of the IMAP folder in the profile and excluded thunderbird.exe from the "web and email protection".

Any ideas?

Regards!

 Stefan
