Why can't I drop and drag images in Firefox 49.0?

Before I installed Firefox 49.0 last night, I was always able to drop and drag images. In other words, I would go to a website and I would be able to click on an image and drag it into a new tab, which would show me the image source URL. I can't do this on ANY of the websites that I used to with my previous version of Firefox.

Does it work in the latest Firefox 50.0.2 version?
