Hi- I originally installed Firefox Developer Edition on my Windows 10 machine but then uninstalled it and wanted to install regular Firefox. But everytime I launch it goes immediately to crash reporter. Will not launch in safe mode.

Most recent crash ID:

bp-a6975fa3-5a03-4dae-a2b1-6026c2170122

Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

Michael

hi michael, thanks for providing a crash id. this crash is caused by the websense security software that is running on your device. i presume that's in a corporate environment - please get in contact with your it department to make sure that websense is fully up to date, as it has the tendency to crash newly released firefox versions until they adapt accordingly. another option would be to install an esr version of firefox: Old versions of Websense cause startup crashes in Firefox
