For some web sites, my userids are appearing as choices in the password field. How can I remedy this?

When logging in to some sites, my "saved passwords" offers a list of userids in the password field rather than the password. Nothing is offered in the userid field for these sites.

If you see the user name in the password field as a suggestion then this means that there is login data stored for this website. Firefox will never show the password in the drop-down list but instead shows the username. If you select a specific username then the password will be filled. I don't know why the user name field doesn't show suggestions if that is what is happening. You can check saved entries in the Password Manager with this extension.
