Anyone can spoof any email address and there is nothing you can do about it except be selective where you post personal info including your email address.

FYI....This is our work email address, would like to make sure no one can use it except us at the office. This is very strange and worry about it causing bigger issues. I will be getting off work soon and will not be able to respond to any questions until Monday morning.
