I can no longer be notified of sent messages in sent folder
For years of use with no problems, all of a sudden my sent messages no longer show up in my sent folder. The messages are received by recipients. I've sent messages to my email address as well as it is received. And I have checked the settings.

Right click the folder in the folder pane and select properties and then repair.
Try sending a mail. Does it appear?
Right click the account in the folder pane and select settings. In copies and folders is the sent mail being directed to the correct sent folder?
Account settings does have more than one account listed so be sure to check the correct one.
I am not clear on what "folder" you are referring to in your first suggestion. I've tried the second suggestion on the correct account and the setting is correct. Perhaps if I can do your first suggestion it might solve my problem. Although I am not clear either on how "then repair" is accomplished.
