Antivirus destroyed "inbox" (not msf file). Any way to restore? From cache or other? Emails are deleted off the server.

The inbox file itself is gone and linked to this all of the attachments and message fields are gone. Is there a way to restore these from the cached or other folders? Unfortunatly the server has since removed these emails.

I would suggest that you either stop the anti-virus from scanning TB files or if you do scan, change the settings in anti-Virus to ask what to do rather than auto-fix. Then you can stop the quarrantining and take alternative action on a bad email.

You can restore messages from a recent backup of your Thunderbird profile. Of course that assumes you did create one in the first place.
