As the title says I can only go to new websites from my home pages, I cannot open a new tab and enter a url, nor can I open a bookmark in a new tab. That tab will buffer and never load, I have to keep my home pages open and use them to get around.

I seem to have narrowed my problem down to the Mega extension, even though I disabled it before and it changed nothing. Luckily I don't really need it as it is just for the occasion I need to download something from the site.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Maybe a problem with this extension that shows in the System Details list:

Disabling the addon does not fix the problem.
