When I do a yahoo search for someone and then click on the images tab nothing shows up, just a blank screen, I do the same yahoo search IE 11 or google chrome and click on the images tab all works fine. It only has a problem in firefox.

Are you using the search bar/address bar and getting the custom Firefox layout, or starting from Yahoo's home page?

When I search from Yahoo's home page for puppies and then click Images, the URL is:

https://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images;_ylt=AwrSbhgh49JZhZkA1WhXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTE0bm01djZuBGNvbG8DZ3ExBHBvcwMxBHZ0aWQDQjQ3MDdfMQRzZWMDcGl2cw--?p=puppies&fr2=piv-web&fr=yfp-t

If I search using Firefox's search bar for puppies and then click Images, the URL is:

https://images.search.yahoo.com/yhs/search;_ylt=A86.J3XX4tJZ9H0AZ4EnnIlQ?p=puppies&fr=yhs-mozilla-001&fr2=piv-web&hspart=mozilla&hsimp=yhs-001

Comparing between two tabs, there are some major differences in the top bar and the Firefox layout doesn't have a Flickr section.

Do either of those work for you in Firefox?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
