Have migrated thunderbird profile from old to new computer by copying files across network. Setup profile using -p startup option. Data/emails are there fine. When I click on "Get Messages" it will login and check for messages on all email accounts except the GMail accounts in the profile. The GMail accounts it asked for a password which it fine but it won't successfully login to the server because the server name is invalid. For an email account named "joe@gmail.com" is't appended the gmail server and attempting to login to "joe@gmail.com@imap.googlemail.com". I don't think I've ever seen this before and don't believe that's a valid address. Why is it doing this and how do I fix it?

I have no idea how you managed that, but correcting it should not be hard.

Right click the account in the foldr pane and select settings. in the account settings dialig that opens check the account name and email address are correct. Click on server settings for the account. Is the user name stated correctly? Fix it if not.
