Hi I have an aol.com email address.

I have received an email from aol telling me that my third party email application is not up to date, and I need to upgrade.

I have checked online and my Firefox software is the latest version.

Is this an aol issue or is there other more up to date Morzilla software.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's not an email application; it's strictly a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". In that case Firefox displays your email as a webpage. the "email application" resides on the server (AOL) that hosts that web-mail service.
