The go-back arrow does not work with the most recent update. I have to use my bookmarks to get back to the page I was on.

Firefox auto-updated this morning (or late last night, foggy memory). Since the update, the browser back arrow has failed to work. It does not drop down a list of previous pages when I click and hold and it does not respond when I click on it to go back.

Is this a known issue? Is there a resolution for it?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
