eGreetings,

I am using Windows 7 and Thunderbird 52. When I try to drag and drop an image into a new Thunderbird email message to send I get a blocked message.

Thunderbird has blocked a file from loading into this message. Unblocking the file will include it in your sent message.

It gives me the option to Unblock by clicking a little button in the lower right hand corner titled OPTION. If I click this and choose the HTML that shows, my image will appear.

But I don't want to do this every time.

Is there a setting I can change to disable the default blocking?

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!

Best, Jeri

Go to Tools|Options|Advanced|General→Config Editor and add this item, if it is not already there:

mail.compose.attach_http_images

and set it to true.

Hi Zenos,

Thank you for your speedy response. This has already been done. And it does not solve the problem.

Is there anything else I can try?

Thank you so much, Jeri
