When I go to open volume mixer on my laptop there are multiple firefox audio controls and it is very confusing because all of them are named firefox.

Even after I close out almost all my tabs the volume controls are still there, it is very, very inconvenient when I'm trying to adjust the volume. IF it was a volume control slide for each tab AND the name were the title of the tab then it would be awesome. But right now it is just very confusing and inconvenient.

My only additional thought is:

The tab that is playing audio should have activity such as a colored bar moving up and down below the thumb on the volume slider.

Ya I have noticed that but sometimes I would have my volume low, and if I wanted a particular tab higher in volume I would need to turn them up one by one because I can't see the colored part.
