In email: Opening email say in the second window in the middle of the window. After reading the mail, going back to the window where all email are listed, instead returning to that place of the email read, system shoot up to the top. Sometimes its goes back where I came from but most of the time it shoot up to the top of the email list. Why it can not always go back where I came from?`

Open the message in a New Tab. Then close that tab when you are done.

How I do that? Open email in an other tab?

This is a follow up to my previous question.

You could try one of these methods, which should work with any link. Sometimes inbox items don't behave like a link, but it's worth a try.

  • right-click > Open Link in New Tab
  • "middle-click" with the mouse scroll wheel
  • Ctrl+click with the left mouse button

Also, different mail sites have different methods for displaying a message. Some may add an overlay you can close using an X; others may pop up a separate window or tab. Are you having this problem on a well-known site like Outlook, Yahoo or Gmail?
