I have set google as my default search and I have latest version of firefox. But when I type anything in search search bar and hit enter then it seems that it is trying to do something but after a while firefox stop waiting signal and then if I hit enter again then quickly google result page open. This happen all the time that first time there is no impact and second time search result open instantly. Due to this, it is very frustating to use firefox for search, on the other hand Chrome return instant result on search.

Please suggest what is wrong here.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
