The Ubuntu builds of Firefox 57.0.4 had a issue with the Synaptic input driver on right-clicking. /questions/1199960

So it is possible that it may continue to have some issues, say with Middle-click this time.

Perhaps try the Firefox 58.0 tarball from www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ to see if you still have the same issue.

That would have to do with the Mouse driver and how it is configured. You need to check with the Mouse driver support to find out what is the problem with the mouse.
