Using new version of Firefox, each time the browser is closed the setting under security to remember passwords and log ins get unchecked and I have to open the options tab and recheck it. Has been happening since upgraded to new firefox, and on two different computers. Never had this issue until recently.

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.

This is possibly a problem with the RoboForm Password Manager extension in case you use this Password Manager.

See:

The behavior described by you is by design in Chrome and Firefox.
A user can disable RoboForm extension to enable the built-in password manager in the browser.
The user is intended to use either at a time, not both.
