Linux OS. Thunderbird with french language pack and thunderbird file picker File picker parameter  : ui.allow_platform_file_picker;false If I try to attach a file to a mail, I receive the error message :

Erreur d’analyse XML : entité non définie Emplacement : chrome://global/content/filepicker.xul Numéro de ligne 25, Colonne 3 : <label value="&lookInMenuList.label;" control="lookInMenuList" accesskey="&lookInMenuList.accesskey;"/> --^

If I come back to english language (desactive french language pack) all works well.

can anybody give some answer?

It may be caused by the French language pack not being up to date. Make sure it is by checking for updates from within Tools > Add-ons > Languages panel and retry. Direct link

Do note that if you installed Thunderbird from your Linux distribution’s package manager, language packs should be provided by the distro too, so update from there.

if you don’t need English at all, you may be aware of the fact you could also (preferably first uninstall any language packs, then) download and install the French Thunderbird version from here or here after uninstalling the English version first. Make sure not to delete any propfile data when prompted during the uninstall. The same as above applies, so you could also try installing the French version from the distribution’s package manager.
