double click a non-link word, it is marked and select text to copy, and pop menu shows an item to copy the text. but click a word of a link, the pop menu shows no copy text item. double click just opens the link. so no way to copy a word showing in a link

Well, you could just copy the whole link and then keep what you need and delete the rest.

the link could be 'http://abc.com/xyz/efd.html' but the text displayed in the page might be 'text', so there is no 'text' in the link. but the 'text' is needed to copy, and it is not in the link.
