All of a sudden I can't get Amazon.co.uk The Amazon list comes up, showing all the alternative Amazons I may want but if I choose one i get a cartoon character holding a broken wire saying "Sorry can't get that site." Previously I didn't have any trouble getting Amazon. I have also noticed other sites have the same result, when choosing from a list of available sites. Any ideas how to fix it ? Cheers Wulfrun

This could be caused by several things.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?
